Snehatheeram – A Care and Support Centre
Snehatheeram is a care and support center primarily for people living with HIV (PLHIV),
though it also extends its care to the destitute and marginalized individuals. In addition to its
core services, Snehatheeram operates a home-based care program through an outreach
initiative called NANMA. The community has been involved in this ministry since 2005,
catering to the needs of thousands of HIV-infected and affected individuals, diabetic patients,
TB patients, and those suffering from various chronic illnesses. The community has also been
active in spiritual ministry, including Gospel preaching, parish ministry, and vocation
promotion. Additionally, the community supports the mentally afflicted through the Sneha
Counselling Centre.
