Camillians came to Trichy in 2000 with the intention of recruiting candidates from Tamil Nadu and of providing initial formation to them. The pioneers started to live in a rented house in Crawford in Trichy with two candidates. After staying in Crawford for a year they shifted their formation house to another rented house nearby Karumandapam with 11 candidates. In 2004 a plot was purchased and began the construction of the Seminary. In 2006 Pre-philosophy candidates were brought to the house here. In the same year we shifted our house to the newly constructed building in Enam Mathur – Trichy, about 24 km away from the city. Presently it is functioning as a centre for vocation promotion, and a minor seminary for the candidates from Tamil Nadu. Vision
