1st World Day of Camillian Vocation at St. Camillus Provincialate, Bangalore.

On Saturday, 29th June, St. Camillus Provincialate hosted the 1 st World Day of Camillian
Vocation at the Snehadaan Hospital Chapel. The event brought together Camillian Fathers,
Sisters, and Brothers for a day of spiritual recollection, reflection, and fellowship. The day
began at 7:00 am with Lauds, setting a prayerful tone for the events to follow. After Lauds,
participants shared a communal breakfast at 7:30 am, fostering a sense of community and
togetherness. At 9:00 am, the group gathered for Adoration and Confession, providing an
opportunity for personal reflection and spiritual renewal. This was followed by a tea break at
10:30 am, allowing participants to refresh and prepare for the morning's key event. At 11:00
am, Rev. Fr. Justin Kuzhivelil CMF, Vicar of Saints Joseph & Claret Church, Dasarahalli,
Bangalore, delivered an inspiring talk on "Revitalizing our vocation, its relevance and
sustainability." His insights and reflections provided valuable perspectives on the
importance of maintaining the vitality and relevance of the Camillian vocation in today's
world. The Holy Eucharist was celebrated at 12:00 noon, serving as the spiritual high point of
the day. The Mass was a profound expression of faith and commitment to the Camillian
mission. The day's program concluded with a communal lunch at 1:00 pm, where participants
continued to share their experiences and reflections, reinforcing the bonds of their shared
vocation. The 1 st World Day of Camillian Vocation was a resounding success, offering a
meaningful and enriching experience for all who attended. It emphasized the importance of
continual spiritual growth and the sustaining power of the Camillian vocation.
