Report on World Camillian Vocation Day

On September 19 and 20, 2024, a two-day workshop was organized for the administrators of
various communities, aimed at empowering financial administrators to enhance their
efficiency and leadership in managing resources. The workshop covered crucial topics like
property protection, leadership, and financial administration, providing a holistic learning
experience for the participants.
The event commenced with a keynote address by Fr. Bijoy Kuliraniyil, Provincial of the
community, who emphasized the importance of skilled financial management and leadership
for the overall well-being of the community.
On Day 1, Mr. Raghu, an advocate, conducted an insightful session on the protection of
property, focusing on legal frameworks, safeguarding assets, and managing risks. His
expertise provided administrators with practical knowledge to ensure the legal security of
community properties.
Day 2 featured a session by Mr. David Istacky, centered on leadership and administration. His
training helped participants develop effective leadership skills, equipping them to manage
teams, make informed decisions, and foster accountability within their communities.
Additionally, Fr. Lijo Pattathil, Bursar of the province, led a hands-on training session,
offering practical financial tools and processes that financial administrators can apply directly
in their day-to-day responsibilities.
The workshop was organized by Fr. Bacil, the secretariat of finance and administration, on
behalf of the province team. His efforts ensured that the program ran smoothly, providing
administrators with valuable insights and skills to excel in their roles.
This two-day workshop served as a crucial platform for financial administrators to strengthen
their expertise in property management, leadership, and financial stewardship, ultimately
enhancing the overall functioning of the communities.
