On 18th June 2025, the Camillian community at St. Camillus Nivas, Assam, joyfully welcomed the new candidates who have joined the formation program to discern and nurture their vocation in the spirit of St. Camillus de Lellis.

The day began with the Holy Eucharistic celebration, presided over by Rev. Fr. Bijoy Kuliranjiyil, Provincial Superior, who encouraged the candidates to open their hearts to God’s call and to walk faithfully in the footsteps of Christ the Healer. In his homily, Fr. Bijoy highlighted the importance of formation as a journey of faith, love, and service, especially in the charism of caring for the sick and the suffering.

Following the Eucharist, Fr. Patrick Nayak, the Superior of St. Camillus Nivas, extended a warm welcome to the brothers, together with Fr. Bijoy, assuring them of the community’s prayerful support and guidance. The ceremony was filled with joy, fraternal spirit, and gratitude to God for the gift of new vocations.

The event concluded with a simple fellowship, where the community and the new candidates shared their joy and hope for the journey ahead. Truly, it was a day of grace and new beginnings for the Camillian family in Assam.
