First World Day of Prayer for Camillians Vocation

The community observed first World Day of Prayer for the vocations

The day began with special Lauds at 7:00 o’clock mainly keeping the intentions for the Camillian vocations.

We began at 9:00 am to reflect on the theme of the day “Fishers of men in the sea of Charity” which was well explained by Fr. Christopher Surin to the students who keenly listened and were inspired and motivated by the talk to become authentic fishers of men in the sea of Charity in the Camillians Order.

The community began the Holy hour at 10:00 am, praying for the Camillians Vocations whole over the world especially imploring God’s blessings and protection on young budding vocations of Camillians Order which was led by Fr. Sikendra Singh creatively and prayerfully.

The first World Day of Prayer for the vocation was symbolically initiated by lighting the candles before the holy Eucharistic celebration by Fr. Christopher, Fr. Sikendra and the leaders.

The Holy Eucharistic celebration was presided over by the Fr Christopher Surin Specially praying to nourish the vocation of each Camillians and the young budding would be Camillians and symbolically offering flowers at the altar during the offertory invocation God’s blessings on each Camillian brothers and sisters engaged in the healing ministry. Letting Jesus to walk before us and we after him so that we may discern his will and know what God wants of us.
