Reegents Meet Held

Bangalore: The meeting of Regents began on November 9 2015 here at Fr. Ernesto Nidini Memorial Auditorium, Upasana. The meeting started off with the invocation of the presence of the Holy Spirit by Br. Ajeesh. Br. Rajkumar welcomed Fr. Baby Ellickal, Vicar Provincial, Fr. Jaison Narikuzhy, Master of the Regents and all the brothers to the gathering. Following this Fr. Baby Illickal talked on the vision, mission and orientation of the regency programme. Sharing from his personal experiences Fr. Baby made us understand about vision, mission and orientation. In the second session directed by Fr. Biju Sebastian threw some light on how to win situations. We mentioned some of our difficulties and he gave some suggestions how to cope with them. In the evening we did have a meeting with Fr. Jaison in order to plan these five days of program. In the meeting we did decide to have an evening of fraternity as well along with all the scheduled programmes. The second day was spent in prayer and recollection. We had been asked to take a personal theme from the scripture and to spend a half day reflecting and meditating on the theme. We did this exercise in the CST Renewal centre. The day was really meaningful as we devoted our time in prayer and in Adoration. All of us did receive the sacrament of reconciliation. In the evening we had a sharing session. We did also arrange personal conferences with Fr Jaison as he is responsible for our programme. On the third day we organized PowerPoint presentations to describe our programs in the respective communities we are placed. Everyone did the presentation with loads of creativity. After the presentation Fr. Jaison gave some inputs on Personal growth, right way to take a decision and spiritual growth and relation with God. In the evening we had the “Fraternity Evening”. Snehadaan community and Provincialate residence joined us for the program and Supper. We organized a Basket ball match between theologians and regents. It was really a memorable evening with great fun, cultural activities and fraternal meal with our Camillian fathers and brothers. On the fourth day we began the day with a sharing mass presided by Fr. Biju Sebastian. It was a good time for all of us coming together to celebrate our Lord’s Supper with sharing on the Word of God. On this day, the first session was by Fr. William Eronimoose. He shared his personal life experiences. The session was like a forerunner to the novitiate programme. He gave more emphasize on human dimensions of life, in a special way life in marriage, life in religious/consecrated life and life after.
On the fifth day we had been given assignments to write about the learnings we drove home in the regency program. The last day was organized with a day of outing to Wonederla, a water theme park. We spent the whole day there cherishing and relishing our fraternity. Brothers from Upasana also joined for the picnic along with Frs. Bobin and Patrick. It was really a time of fun and entertainment and the conclusion of six days of meeting. We learned proper guidance and direction about the program for the rest of the year. We are to complete our program by March 2016.
